Ian McDiarmid

Ian McDiarmid (born 11 August 1944) is an award-winning Scottish character actor and director, best known for portraying Darth Sidious in the Star Wars film series. He portrayed the character in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Star Wars: Age of the Jedi, Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and Apprentice: A Star Wars Story.
